#415 – Larger than life

Several big big tunes again in this episode! Frantic footwerk rhythms, humongous synths from Hudson Mohawke, great tension and buildup by Trevino, the genius that is Kaidi, ocean deep atmospheres from Stratasoul, a playful Siriusmo bounce and finally a true classic from the masters themselves.

Oh man – this podcast is just too much ! At least half a dozen tracks are well worth listening to repeatedly on their own, but then you add the cunning juxtapositions and transitions… it *really* hit the spot !

Is there by any chance a venue in the San Francisco Bay area where musicians like Ratcliffe and Hudson Mohawke might be heard ? If not – that’s really too bad. But if so, I would love to get any suggestions you might have.

In any case – outstanding work.

Hi Ed, thanks for the compliments! As for SF/Bay Area club venues, you might want to check nights organised by theLift and Low End Theory!
