About Beyondjazz

Beyondjazz started as an online future jazz community, with almost 5000 registered members. It was run by Lennart Schoors (lensco) and Jurriaan Persyn (oemebamo) in Ghent, Belgium and Matthew Hajdu (creaminal) in London, UK. We released 4 acclaimed Beyondjazz compilations, which are still available in our shop.

From 2009 on however we’re focused solely on our podcast – running since 2001! The Beyondjazz radioshow is an eclectic blend of bass music, broken beats, hiphop, house, nujazz, soul… hosted by Lennart Schoors (lensco).
