Massive debut release from the young producer Joy Orbison on the fantastic Hot Flush label out of UK. House meets dubstep meets funky in Hyph Mngo which is heavily aired by Mary Anne Hobbs or Benji B. Wet Look on the flipside is also a killer but more on the deep-atmospheric tip. JO has also remixed José James’ Black Magic and made some guestmixes for various music blogs. This one is out in September but watch out for more Orbison in the future!

Austrian multitalent Dorian Concept is back with a smashing single on the great Affine Records. Listen to a tasty teaser here and buy it asap as it’s released this week. A new album is also coming out from DC who was a special guest alongside his mate The Clonious on the latest Hepcat Radio.

Another superb Beat Dimensions selection by Cinnaman (Rush Hour Records) and Jay Scarlett (Spacek Soundsystem).
