Basic Soul Unit aka Stuart Li from Toronto, Canada is the focus of this episode. Since 2003 he’s been releasing tunes on labels like Iwanai, Versatile, Mule, Philpot, … and he co-started the Do Right! sublabel Left Of The Dial. His sound ranges from straight up detroit to jazzy broken techno down to jackin’ chicago house – old school sounds in a modern production. His excellent new releases on Crème Organization and Room With A View were reason enough to make a one hour special with BSU productions. We hope you dig!
